ORION 2023

The year 2023 was marked by a major exercise for our armed forces: ORION 2023 (Operation de grande envergure pour des armées Résilientes, Interopérables, Orientées vers le combat de haute intensité et Novatrices). The exercise brought together all those involved in maintaining security, from both the civilian and military worlds. Based on a fictitious scenario, ORION aims to prepare the mobilization of forces in the context of a multi-field crisis (land, sea, outer space or cyber) and multifactorial (computer, biological attack...).

In this context, the armed forces have called on Preligens to deploy the solutions we offer. For us, this experience is an opportunity to test our products in "real-life" conditions, to understand how they can be used by the armed forces. It was also an opportunity for us to work with the Ministry of Defence to identify their needs and expectations. 

In conclusion to our participation in ORION, the 11th Parachute Brigade (with whom we collaborated) praised the performance of Preligens tools: "Using Preligens solutions saves an enormous amount of time on vectorization, enabling us to reduce processing time from around ten hours to just a few minutes".

The availability of the armed forces and their operational capabilities depend on the operability of Preligens solutions.
