Preligens sponsor of DefInSpace 2022

This year, the second edition of the hackathon organised by the French Air Force, the Space Command and Aerospace Valley attracted more than 200 participants, both in France and abroad, as Cyprus, Italy and Bulgaria had their own editions this year.

Renaud Allioux, our CTO, and Pascal Lecuyot, our VP Software, were respectively members of the jury for the final and the semi-final.

About Def In Space:

DefInSpace is a classic hackathon: 24 hours to imagine solutions for the space defense of tomorrow. This event, created by the French Space Command and operated by the Aerospace Valley competitiveness cluster, took place on June 3rd & 4th 2022. The semi-final and final were held on June 28, 2022

It is an incredible opportunity for participants to discover the little known universe of defense space and its future challenges as well the new jobs that will result from the latter.

DefInSpace aims to: promote the search for innovative solutions for the benefit of the CDE’s space control mission and to expand its influence.

The Hackathon reflects the CDE’s commitment to demonstrating that some military space issues can be studied in an agile, collective manner through the challenges proposed.
