Wednesday, November 30, was the first day of the French President's state visit to Washington, D.C., which focused on space issues. The visit, which took place at NASA headquarters, illustrated the long-standing relationship between the two countries in all areas of space, a cooperation that dates back more than 60 years and has been strengthened significantly over the past three years in the context of the new golden age of space.
It was also intended to advance the structuring axes of future cooperation through an institutional session in the presence of Kamala Harris, Vice President of the United States, and Bill Nelson, NASA Administrator. This institutional session was followed by an industrial session, dedicated to historical commercial space and Newspace.
Arnaud Guerin, co-founder and CEO of Preligens, was part of the group of five companies invited to participate in this session. His presence alongside the CEO of Kinéis, the CEO of Thales USA, the VP of Arianespace and the CEO of Loft Orbital, testified to the strategic importance of the technology deployed by Preligens, which is currently the European leader in the field of Artificial Intelligence for the analysis of satellite imagery for defense and intelligence purposes, and is currently accelerating its development in the United States.
